Volunteers Needed - Salvation Army Day Camp Mon 10th June - Sun 30th June The Medford Salvation Army is in need of volunteers to help out with this year's Summer Day Camp at 304 Beatty St. in Medford. Approximately 30 low income children will attend this year's camp schedule to run June 24 through August 23. Volunteers will help camp staff with recreational activities and crafts, daily supervision of children, field trips and facility upkeep.
Adult Summer Reading Program Mon 10th June - Sun 11th August Jackson County Library Services announces its Adult Summer Reading Program with the theme "Groundbreaking Reads". Kids for Cans - Fund Drive Sat 6th July Kids for Cans, a program of Southern Oregon Youth Programs (SOYP), is conducting a can redemption drive on Saturday, July 6 at the entrance of the Eagle Point Wal-Mart. A silver trailer will be near the entrance for people to drop off their recyclable cans and bottles from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. SOYP is a non-profit organization that supports local kids.
